Terms of Service

1. What Stamp.Show is
Stamp.Show (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) is a web application for organizing philatelic exhibitions: creating an expo, registering exhibits, forming judge teams, scoring exhibits in a Jury Room, running an optional automatic evaluation against rubrics aligned with FIP (Fédération Internationale de Philatélie) and APS (American Philatelic Society) exhibiting regulations, and publishing results. By creating an account or using the Service in any role, you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts, exhibitors and judges
Expo organizers need an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for safeguarding your login. Exhibitors and judges do not create accounts: an organizer invites them by email, and they reach the exhibitor portal or the Jury Room through a personal link. Anyone holding that link can act as that person, so do not forward it.
You must be at least 16 years old to create and hold an organizer account. A younger exhibitor may take part only through a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult (for example a club leader acting with the parent's or guardian's permission) who registers the exhibit, accepts these Terms on the child's behalf and supervises the child's use of the Service. We may suspend or delete an account created by a child on their own. See our Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.
3. Evaluations are advisory only
The automatic evaluation produces an estimated score, projected medal and commentary generated by a third-party language model. It is a preparation aid for organizers and exhibitors, not an official FIP or APS judgment, and it is not affiliated with, and does not bind, the FIP, the APS, any federation or any exhibition's official jury. The scores your own judges enter in the Jury Room, and the results you publish, are the organizer's responsibility. Do not treat automatic output as a guarantee of any outcome.
4. Frames, payments and refunds
Creating and managing an expo, inviting exhibitors and judges, and manual judging are free. An automatic evaluation consumes “frames”, a prepaid balance bought in packages: one frame per frame of the exhibit being evaluated, and at least one per evaluation. Purchases are processed by Stripe and we do not store your card details; by buying you also accept Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Purchased frames expire one year after the date of purchase. Frames spent on an evaluation that never produces a result are returned to your balance automatically. Otherwise purchases are non-refundable, except where the law requires it or where the payment is reversed through your card issuer or Stripe. Package prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases.
5. Add-ons: subdomain and custom domain
An expo can optionally have a subdomain of its own (slug.stamp.show) and/or a custom domain of the organizer's choice. Each is an annual add-on bought per expo, at the price shown at checkout (currently USD 10 per year each). An add-on does not renew by itself: when its year ends, the subdomain stops working and a custom domain is disconnected from our network and removed from the expo, which stays reachable at its stamp.show/expo address. We may email the organizer when that happens.
A custom domain must be one you control; you configure its DNS records, and we do not sell or register domain names. A full refund of an add-on payment, or a payment dispute that you lose, ends the add-on. Add-ons are not transferable between expos.
6. Organizers' responsibilities
When you organize an expo you decide which exhibitors and judges take part and what is asked of them. You are responsible for having a legitimate basis to collect their data, for telling them how it is used in your expo, for the rules, fees and awards of your exhibition, and for what you publish. We process exhibitor and judge data on your behalf to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Your content
You and your exhibitors retain ownership of the images and exhibit data uploaded to the Service. You grant us a limited license to store, process and transmit that content, including to the AI model provider and compute infrastructure we use to run an evaluation you requested, solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to upload what you submit.
8. API keys
An organizer can create API keys for an expo. A key acts with the permissions of the account that created it: keep it secret, rotate it if it may have leaked, and revoke it when it is no longer needed. You are responsible for everything done with your keys.
9. Acceptable use
Do not upload content you do not have rights to, or content that is illegal or infringing under the laws of the State of Georgia, United States or of your own location. Do not attempt to disrupt, probe or reverse-engineer the Service, circumvent the frame balance, or use it to send unsolicited messages. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on automatic evaluation output or an interruption of an expo's website or domain. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, USA, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
